To be vital is to be distinguished from the non living, to have energy entwined in the fiber of your being. the exhibition showcases a distinct liveness to every piece of art created by the 16 BFA undergraduates. Through vibrant colors, immersive installations, extraordinary textures, and so much more, Vital Condition creates a collective body of work that contains a life of its own. Each brushstroke and fingerprint, each moment in the work that the artists see as a flaw or a mistake or something they wish to change, is both a record of their own lives, and a creation of new ones.
