Inside Voices is the debut solo exhibition from Minneapolis-based painter Taylor Wald. The collection of painted scenes and sculptural ephemera considers generational patterns of behavior in the home and the self. These works investigate the impressions we leave behind in our domestic spaces, transforming still objects into living, storytelling subjects.

About the Artist:

Taylor Wald is a Minneapolis-based artist and curator whose work investigates the life, labor, and sacrifices involved in generational patterns of behavior. Wald will graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a minor in Museum and Curatorial Studies, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota in 2026. She has been featured in exhibitions including those at Rosalux Gallery, Schmidt Landmark Gallery, Vera W. Russell Gallery, Quarter Gallery, and Fresh Eye Gallery, and has done curatorial work at the Weisman Art Museum, the Quarter Gallery, and the Cube Gallery. She was a 2023 Matchmaking Artist at Art In Motion and holds a People's Choice Award from the Paramount Center for the Arts.
